Kansas State lands commitment from Piper defensive tackle Cooper Beebe
The Kansas State football team didn't have to look far in order to land its second commitment for its 2019 recruiting class.
Cooper Beebe, a junior defensive tackle from Piper High School, orally committed to the Wildcats on Monday.
He made the announcement on Twitter by writing, "Thank you to all the coaches that have recruited me to date. But I'm blessed to say that I'm continuing my academic and athletic career at Kansas State University."

Beebe is a 6-foot-3, 318-pound defensive lineman from Kansas City, Kan. He received interest from several notable football programs across the Midwest, and chose K-State over Minnesota and Kansas.
He is a three-star recruit and the eighth-ranked high school prospect in the Sunflower State for 2019, according to 247Sports.
Beebe joins Tancey Richardson, a three-star safety from Fort Scott Community College, as the first members of K-State's 2019 recruiting class.
