The Lowdown: This amounts to a warm-up game for Kansas State, which is looking to add another victory to its 3-0 start before departing for the Las Vegas Invitational. Northern Arizona is still searching for its first win.
K-State player to watch: Levi Stockard. The freshman forward showed his skills while scoring six points and grabbing three rebounds against UC Irvine, but foul trouble prevented him from seeing extended action. Perhaps a cleaner effort will allow him to accomplish more off the bench in this game.
NAU player to watch: Isaiah Thomas. He shares the same name as some great basketball players. It could be interesting to how his game measures up.
Prediction
K-State has played some bad teams this season, but Northern Arizona is the worst. College basketball statistician Ken Pomeroy ranks the winless Lumberjacks 340th nationally. It will be a surprise if this game is remotely close.
