Kansas State football coach Bill Snyder will be the guest speaker at the Tri-County CASA fundraising event at 9 a.m. May 2 at the Hereford House inside Andover’s Terradyne Country Club.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) are trained volunteers who are appointed by judges to speak for children who are victims of neglect or abuse. The Tri-County chapter covers Butler, Elk and Greenwood counties.

Snyder chairs the Kansas State Mentors Council and this year received the Excellence in Mentoring Award from the National Mentoring Partnership.
