Missouri beats Kansas State 67-48 in WNIT
Morgan Eye made nine three-pointers and scored 27 points, leading Missouri to a 67-48 win over Kansas State in the second round of the Women’s NIT of Sunday afternoon in Manhattan.
The score was tied 35-35 at halftime, but Kansas State was held to 13 points in the final 20 minutes. The Wildcats made 4 of 22 field goals in the second half, and 5 of 14 free throws.
Haley Texada scored 15 points and Breanna Lewis added 13 for Kansas State (19-14). Ashia Woods, a senior from Wichita Collegiate, did not play Sunday after being injured in Thursday’s first-round win over Akron.
