MANHATTAN – Jevon Thomas is once again a member of the Kansas State basketball team, Wildcats coach Bruce Weber said Monday.

“At this point, we are going to be at full strength with our team, barring anything crazy happening over these next two days,” Weber said during his turn on the Big 12 coaches teleconference. “I hope we have a full strength team on our hands Wednesday night.”

K-State plays TCU at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the first game of the Big 12 Tournament at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

Thomas, a sophomore point guard, did not travel with K-State for its last game, a 62-49 loss at Texas, for undisclosed reasons. On Saturday, Weber said he dismissed Thomas from the team, but left the door open for his return.

“He has to stay focused and do what he is supposed to be doing,” Weber said Saturday. “If he wants to come back to the team, he has got to come talk to us and we will make a decision.”

Senior forward Nino Williams has also re-joined the team after missing Saturday’s game for personal reasons.

Williams is the team’s second-leading scorer, averaging 11.3 points and 5.2 rebounds. Thomas is averaging 4.5 points and 3.3 assists. Both are normal starters.
