Kellis Robinett’s Top 25 AP Ballot (Nov. 23)

An exciting weekend of college football led to some changes in my latest top 25 ballot.

Let’s break them down:

Movement up top: My top five didn’t change from last week, and my top 10 barely moved at all. I moved Baylor ahead of Ohio State, even though both teams won in solid fashion Saturday. Ohio State’s loss to Virginia Tech hurts its resume more than Baylor’s loss to West Virginia. UCLA, Kansas State and Georgia all move up a spot after Mississippi lost.

Biggest jump: Georgia Tech moved up three spots to No. 20, taking advantage of a weekend when the teams in front of it all lost.

Biggest drop: Mississippi falls from No. 8 all the way to No. 25 after its 30-0 loss at Arkansas. Ole Miss has some nice wins on its schedule, but it isn’t playing well at the moment.

See you later: Nebraska was severely overrated two weeks ago, and consecutive losses send it out of my top 25. Notre Dame is also gone following another loss.

New arrivals: Welcome Minnesota, Clemson and Minnesota.

My top 25 (last week in parentheses):

1. Florida State (1)

2. TCU (2)

3. Alabama (3)

4. Oregon (4)

5. Mississippi State (5)

6. Baylor (7)
