Wichita junior golf signup set for May 2

The Wichita Junior Golf Foundation’s summer program returns for a 43rd season, beginning with early-morning signups at five public courses next Monday.

The program is for golfers ages 10-18. The cost for the eight-week program is $20.

Beginning players may be registered at Clapp Park or Auburn Hills beginning at 6:30 a.m. Beginners start June 7 at both courses and play on Tuesdays.

Returning players or players with experience may be registered at any of the city’s five public courses. Signups at MacDonald and Sim parks begin at 6 a.m. Registration at Clapp and Consolver begin at 6:30 a.m. Experienced players begin June 6 and play Mondays.
