Wildcats beat Cincinnati 91-66 in the first round at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City
K-State will face No. 5 Texas Tech in the tournament second round Thursday at 11 a.m.
The Kansas State Wildcats made history inside T-Mobile Center Wednesday.
The No. 12-seeded Wildcats hit 17 of their 32 three-point attempts to cruise to a 91-66 win over 13-seed Cincinnati in the first round of the Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament in Kansas City.
They set a new Big 12 tournament record for 3-pointers in a game, hitting 15 before the fourth quarter started.
K-State next takes on No. 5 seed Texas Tech in the second round of the tournament at 11 a.m. Thursday in KC.
