In 2017, the Wichita Police Department wrote more than 47,000 citations for parking and moving violations. They include things like speeding, backing into parking stalls, driving under the influence and not buckling up.

Every year, The Eagle analyzes ticket data it gets from the city and publishes it in a searchable database so you can see who broke road rules.

You can search the database below using a person's first or last name, the street where a traffic offense happened or the type of crime committed.

Searching with single keywords will return the most results. For example, if you want to see where people were ticketed along West Street or Zoo Boulevard, type in only "West" or "Zoo" in the ticket location field.

For a specific location, type in the exact address.

Some of offenses might be listed in the database in an abbreviated way. For example, "driving under the influence" crimes are listed in the database as "DUI" - so search for "DUI."

Driver's license violations might be listed under "driver's license" or "DL." You can find speeding tickets if you search for "speed."

If you want to see all tickets, leave the search fields blank and hit the search button. Send questions about the database to aleiker@wichitaeagle.com.
