I have the perfect solution to all of our problems. Let’s just elect John Boehner president in 2016 and Sam Brownback as his running mate. That would solve all of the education problems. We would just not have any schools to fund.
Kansas could handle liquor sales as some counties do in Texas. Grocery retailers can sell wine and beer only. Liquor stores are able to sell all forms of wine, beer and spirits. This plan may be way too simple for government. It could work. Maybe.
Liquor stores and grocery stores both selling equal product have co-existed in California for years, mostly on the same property. The grocer didn’t have to buy the license of the liquor store and run it out of business – only in backward-thinking Kansas.
If a child is not immunized and infects another, that means the other child was not immunized either. What’s the problem?
Brian Williams and Barack Obama must have had the same history teacher.
NBC News has changed its motto to: “If it’s not worth exaggerating, it’s not worth saying.”
No wonder we have the worst foreign relations White House ever. Obama won’t invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for talks. Protocol is Obama’s excuse, but he hasn’t used protocol for six years except on the golf course.
ISIS will not be defeated with President Obama micromanaging the military generals. Let the generals do their job.
You know you are in Kansas when people who make Obama look good get re-elected just because there is a “R” after their name. Even after they destroy the state they still will be re-elected. Obama needs to switch parties just so we can watch the bootlicking begin. Incredible.
All this whining about not enough money for public schools in Kansas. Three options: Remove the unions, and quit suing the state of Kansas and spending taxpayer money on illegal immigrants. Another option: Kansas needs to create a voucher program. Problem solved.
The last thing we need is Gov. Sam Brownback telling the Army he has ways to show it how to save money. It will get out of Kansas for sure.
Republicans in the House and Senate have had their majority now for a month, and gas has gone from up 50 cents a gallon. That must be part of those sweeping changes they promised everyone if they were elected to a majority.
Would someone please tell Sen. John McCain that it is none of his business where the U.S. Navy sends its aircraft carriers?
I went to see “American Sniper.” It was my way of sticking a thumb in Michael Moore’s eye.
