I’m tired of you haters calling President Obama a hypocrite for not going to Louisiana fast enough when he undoubtedly sympathized and agonized with the flooding victims every time he shanked a shot into a water hazard.


Not showing up in Louisiana until shamed into it is not the point. The point is what the president chose to do instead of showing up.


Imagine how bad it could be if the Zika mosquitoes make it to the Louisiana flooding area. And our Republican Congress is still on vacation and has done nothing.


A recent letter extolled Donald Trump’s virtues then went on to support testing a candidate’s knowledge of America’s founding documents. Does the writer really think Trump could pass even the easiest test on that subject?


Knowing that Hillary Clinton is a liar, a cheat and is untrustworthy, what does it say about the ethics, values and moral character of those who support her?


Say you have a terrible brain tumor. An intricate operation will save you. Will you seek the best trained and experienced surgeon, or will you use a great salesman without a shred of training or experience? Dump Trump.


The Democratic Party is blessed with the Republicans’ gift to them: Donald J. Trump.


Who checks the so-called “fact-checkers”?


It is time to leave Ryan Lochte alone. The continuing beatdown of this man is getting ridiculous. If only the press would give Clinton the same scrutiny that they gave him.


Lochte shouldn’t worry too much about losing sponsors. His skill set is sure to land him a spot with the Trump campaign.


I find it disgusting that serial killer Dennis Rader continues to command attention that obviously feeds his ego. It is a waste of newsprint. Surely there are more noteworthy stories. Consider what this does to his daughter.


There will be peace throughout the world when the Saudi Arabian women’s beach volleyball team wins Olympic gold.


The prudes are wanting to know if the zoo’s mama gorilla will be breastfeeding in public.
