I’m glad that they’ve set up the rules of the road so that they don’t apply to those who are in a hurry.

Kansas lost 5,600 jobs in July even though the “ job creators” pay no income tax. With Sam Brownback, Susan Wagle and their cronies leading the way, Kansas can now claim the title of worst-managed state.

Remember when you step into the voting booth that everyone drawing a wage or salary has to pay Kansas income taxes, while the privileged were exempted from paying income taxes by the Brownback groupies in the Legislature. It’s just not fair.

Donald Trump supporters are buying into his national security strategy of “Hey, hold my beer and watch this.”

If the media were as concerned about Hillary Clinton’s e-mail lies and President Obama’s lie regarding the $400 million ransom payment to Iran as they are about our swimmer who lied, we might have a chance at a better world.

The Donald can spew more falsehoods in one speech than Hillary can think of in a week on the campaign trail.

Some people want Trump to make his tax returns public. Sounds good to me. Why not audit the Clinton Foundation and make the audit public, too?

I see a lot of criticism of the methods used to raise money for the Clinton Foundation, which helps people in need. I would rather see that criticism focus on the methods used to raise money for campaigns and political action committees.

According to a new poll, 48 percent of Americans approve of Obama’s handling of the economy. The other 52 percent are not on welfare.

A recent Opinion Line comment said you couldn’t be Catholic and a Democrat. I’m both, and there is nothing in the Ten Commandments or church laws that say you can’t be both.

I’m a retired teacher. My “enormous lifetime pension” from KPERS is at max 55 percent of my last average salary, which was meager and flat-lined for 15 years. I paid in, and I’m getting my own money back out.

To all you do-gooders trying to save questionable dogs: Allow them to live next door to you, not me.
