Opinion Line Extra (Aug. 14)

We all know that Hillary has lied to the voters repeatedly. What bothers me is that so many of the voters do not care that she has lied to them.

Donald Trump said “I alone” can fix the nation’s problems. Apparently he never heard the adage, “No man is an I alone.”

If Trump’s mother is still living, she needs to get her 70-year-old teenager by the ear and take his cellphone away.

Any parent who has lost a child is appalled by Trump’s equating hiring employees or donating to charities to sacrificing. I disagree with Khizr Khan in one area. Trump does not have a black soul; he has no soul.

Clinton has a lot of nerve saying Trump “attacks” everyone, since her plans will be an attack on every citizen in this country except for her chosen few. She plans on getting rid of the First and Second Amendments, and as soon as possible.

Have you noticed the headlines in articles about Trump? It’s outrageous how they either have little to do with the contents in the article or are completely misleading about what he said or did. Shame on the news media. What happened to journalistic integrity?

Nearly 70 percent of Americans think government is headed in the wrong direction, but Hillary wants us to go faster in that direction.

To the person who complained about foreign workers urinating in your yard: Vote for Hillary and you will get more.

We would be a better state and nation if unions stayed out of politics. Their lies, misinformation and prejudices are killing us.

If everyone who won big at the casino could prove how much they lost before they won, and could use the losses as a tax deduction, they probably wouldn’t have to pay income tax on the winnings.

Come on, park board, get a backbone and protect our parks. Get the illegal junk from those people out of our parks.

“Buying a car doesn’t have to suck,” but turning the channel or muting during those commercials sure does.
