Opinion Line Extra (Aug. 13)

The government must be run like a business, not like a charity foundation, if it is going to last.


During the Clinton presidency, Republican congressional committees hounded the Clintons with requests for documents including the names of children invited to Chelsea’s birthday parties. Is it any wonder that Hillary chose to do what previous secretaries of state had done and keep her correspondence on a private server?


It is time for all the RINOs to come from back of the BUSHes, cancel their CRUZ to Benghazi, and join the DOLE bandwagon for a TRUMP grand slam.


The members of the Republican Party who have continually stated our country was founded on Christian principles and now are confronted with the toxicity of the Trump campaign failed to remember the admonition: “You reap what you sow.”


Someone commented that Barack Obama is unfit to be president. How can anyone believe that? That is ignorance at its highest.


You can’t argue that Obama is unfit to be president because Obama is the president. On the other hand, you can argue Trump is unfit to be president. Because he isn’t the president. Some people are so stupid in what they say.


No matter how the Iranian money deal is spun by Obama’s sycophants, the deal reeks. He obviously thinks we are all stupid drones.


How expensive would it be to feed the world? Not as expensive as bombing it in the taking of lives, destruction of cities and wearing our military out.


Anyone running for judge who says they are “pro-life” shouldn’t be considered for that job. With that statement they have admitted they are against the death penalty and a woman’s right to her own body, both of which are constitutionally legal.


Because a candidate is pro-life does not mean that they are qualified to be in office. Please vote responsibly, and consider other issues as well.


How sad to see humans walking aimlessly around staring into cellphones trying to find imaginary little objects, with nothing better to do with their lives. If this is the future of our country, we are surely doomed.


People without a neck tend to be smarter than everyone else.
