I used to tell my students: Pay no attention to anything a politician says in the last six months before an election. Watch what they do all along, and you’ll know what they’re all about.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump said they’ve never smoked pot. This is a perfect example of what happens to those who don’t do drugs.
OK, so Hillary lies; Donald wrote the manual from which she learned how.

After the election I will truly miss my daily dose of doofus from the media.
Clinton confessed she must have “short-circuited” when answering questions regarding her e-mails. Do we really want someone capable of short-circuiting to be in charge of the nuclear switch?
It should be against the law for an outgoing president to use taxpayer money to campaign for his successor.
If someone votes by mail and then develops Alzheimer’s disease, it would be easy to steal their vote and vote twice. It probably happens more often than an illegal resident trying to vote.
How much of Kansas’ low-unemployment rate can be attributed to teachers leaving for positions where they are held in higher esteem?
Let’s hope the new Legislature will allow each public college and university to determine the status of guns on campus. The university administrations and students should have the final say.
Does anybody else wonder who was behind all that money spent on the Huelskamp-Marshall race, and what they were and are expecting for their investment? In a more rational America, wouldn’t this race be the poster child for election reform?
I enjoy cheering for our Olympic athletes. I get excited to buy team clothing until I see the prices Ralph Lauren charges. Can’t we find a Sears or JCPenney to produce these goods so average people can participate?
