May all the Kansas legislators who voted to rob the highway fund ruin a tire in a highway pothole.

Isn’t it ironic that the governor and legislators are going to use millions from the hated Affordable Care Act to help balance the budget mess they mostly created? Maybe they won’t want to repeal it after all.

Alcohol and tobacco sellers will set up business along Kansas borders and make a killing if Kansas raises taxes on these items. You don’t increase business by raising prices. Where did we find this governor? Want to hear a joke? We re-elected him.

Vaccinations are important, and we certainly need to be as safe as possible from getting the measles. I only wish I could get inoculated from our governor’s disastrous economic policies.

The GOP is now trying, incredibly, to politicize mandatory vaccinations for children with accusations that it is another example of big government.

News flash for those who think permit-less concealed carry will lead to more gun violence: People inclined toward gun violence already conceal-carry guns without permits. With or without a change in the law, they will continue to do so.

When I was a young man working in the oil field in Rooks and Ellis counties in northwest Kansas, they were fracking wells then and still are. How come the earthquakes are in a small area in southern Kansas?

We would be far better off if we had made India the recipient of our manufacturing investments instead of communist China. It is beyond me why we built up our avowed enemy for the sake of cheap consumer goods.

I was shocked and stunned when the king of Jordan’s response to the brutal killing was forceful and unequivocal. The thought of playing another round of golf never entered his mind.

Anyone who seeks out a video of someone being burned to death is just as sick as the people who made it.

As a Vietnam veteran, I resent Brian Williams trying to make himself a combat hero without actually being military. He’s a national disgrace and a liar. He should be fired immediately. Boycott NBC.

It amazes me how people can spend so much money on tattoos instead of basic dental care.
