Opinion Line Extra (Aug. 9)

As president, Hillary Clinton, with the help of a Republican Senate, will appoint one or two Supreme Court justices, who will vote to make every man, woman and child feel they are equal in sharing the American dream.

I know Republicans really want Trump elected because they’re worried about who will choose Supreme Court justices. But do we really want Trump’s kids on the Supreme Court?

Look at what’s happening in Venezuela. Do we really want socialism here in America? Look at history, please.

Why haven’t all these promises Hillary is grandstanding about already been done by the present president?

The essential value of a free and honest press is to not take sides, either secretly by hiding news or overtly by pushing a partisan agenda. The reporting of Clinton’s many lies and failures does not fit the narrative preferred by most media outlets, so they turn a blind eye.

I hope Trump wins so when things go bad, some of you people who blame Obama for everything that goes bad can blame Trump. The question is: Will you?

Apparently the content of Trump’s tax returns is so damaging that he would rather attack a Gold Star family as a distraction.

Obama dismissed ISIS as nothing but a JV nuisance when smarter minds knew better. What a lying fool he was then. Now he says Trump is not fit to be president, the $400 million was not ransom, and the election won’t be rigged. He’s still a lying fool.

I am fascinated that the Trump bashers are fully prepared to elect a career criminal and chronic liar to the presidency. Trump leaves a lot to be desired, but Hillary is about as low-down as anyone can be.

Any Republican who holds office and states their support for Clinton should lose their party affiliation as well as their political office.

The reason that I am going to “waste my vote” on Hillary Clinton is that I want to have a competent adult in the White House.

What? Gov. Sam Brownback is calling for civility? OK, he can start with the schools and the judges.

Keep your crying babies at your house. Keep your unruly brats at your house.
