Mailers don’t mention all the superintendents leaving

Here’s a fact not mentioned in the phony pro-education campaign mailers financed by the Kansas Chamber of Commerce: More than 20 percent of Kansas school districts will start this school year with new superintendents, a record-high turnover rate. Many of these departures – along with the departures of many teachers – are directly linked to the Legislature’s failure to suitably fund education and its frequent attempts to undermine the education profession. – Phillip Brownlee
