We learned from Benghazi that our military and consular personnel may be left on the battlefield for political expediency with a president and presidential hopeful like Obama and Clinton, respectively.

I demand that $8 million be spent on a full investigation of Melania Trump’s speech. If found guilty, she should go to jail.

Donald Trump was quick to excuse the speechwriter for plagiarism, saying that “she made a mistake.... We all make mistakes.” But forgiveness apparently never comes to anyone named Hillary.

I didn’t really care what Melania Trump had to say. I’d like to hear from Trump’s former wives what they think of him.

Was Michelle Obama’s speech copyrighted? I don’t think so. Therefore anyone can use it. Was Kennedy’s “ask not” phrase copyrighted? I don’t think so. Was the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s phrase “I have a dream” copyrighted? I don’t think so. Get over it.

After the disgraceful, hate-filled GOP convention, Trump should do the only honorable thing and withdraw from the race to let Hillary ascend to her rightful position, unopposed. Any other position is a crime against decency.

Watching the Republican National Convention was like seeing scenes from a zombie apocalypse play out live on TV.

In looking at Trump’s children, if he runs the country the same way he raised his children, he may be one of the country’s greatest presidents.

We keep hearing that the right is unhappy with the way things are going with our current administration. Then it must have been really unhappy with the past two GOP administrations, as most of the statistics, especially economic, were total disasters compared with Obama’s and Bill Clinton’s.

You can blame the Obama economy for businesses going out of business and all the empty storefronts in Wichita.

Susan Wagle has a lot of nerve pointing fingers at anyone after the mess she and the GOP have left Kansas in.

Wagle thinks President Obama “has stoked fires of anger and hostility” toward police. Did she not listen to his conciliatory, encouraging remarks at the Dallas memorial service?

Democrats are the salt of the earth and have all the answers. If you have any doubt, just ask one.

Why do our police (including those in Wichita) wear bulletproof vests but not helmets? It seems quite irresponsible to respond to shootings with the head exposed.

ISIL loyalists were plotting an attack at the Olympic Games in Rio. What – to attack the four spectators in attendance?
