Opinion Line Extra (July 19)
Why would someone eating at a restaurant ask what religion the owner is? Is this a question we should be asking store clerks, cashiers, waitresses, etc., as we go about our daily lives? Of course not. Why would anyone care?
So, I can now eat at Le Monde in peace. I know County Commissioner Karl Peterjohn won’t be there.
How appropriate. A twit announcing his vice presidential pick on Twitter. Too bad Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is hitching his wagon to such a self-serving shock of hair like Trump. I expected more of him.
Hillary Clinton doesn’t own up to her mistakes. That’s why she said “What difference does it make?” regarding Benghazi and comes up with one excuse after another about her e-mails. Get your head out of the sand.

Who is the biggest race hustler of all – Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama?
Obama, at a memorial service for officers gunned down by a deranged admitted racist, said it is easier for a kid to get a Glock than a computer or book. How can anyone listen to this foolishness and not understand why our leaderless country is floundering in debt and division?
It’s sad the blacks in this country are playing right into Obama’s plan to further divide our country.
We the people have a God-given right to bear arms? Stop it – you’re killing me.
It is sad, but some people now just wake up offended. Get over your sad self.
Will they leave the old library for the transient men who hang out there? It’s like a magnet. They have been drawn there for years.
Why are people, including me, so stupid to think by returning to our nearby casino they can win back the thousands of dollars they have lost? It is a fool’s game only the casino can win.
I’ll put my 60-year-old sofa up against any new one made today at any price. The cushions, fabric and frame are as good today as the day it was made.
