Our schools have plenty of money. They have no fiscal accountability. Instead of using resources wisely, they just keep on the same road to insolvency, and never examine themselves, but always point fingers at others.

So, Republicans and Gov. Sam Brownback: Can you tell me again how Kansas being 49th in the nation in real personal income growth is Obama’s fault?

If doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is a sign of insanity, and there is a whole new crop of ultra right-wing conservatives vying for open seats in the Kansas Legislature, please stop the insanity. Vote.

The Kansas Highway Patrol needs to get out of the Raytheon King Air 350 business. Let the Kansas Air National Guard take control of the turboprop. It needs to be exclusively used by the governor, and only for state affairs. No more of the Kobach personal use nonsense.

I am white, and would like to thank A.J. Bohannon for his leadership of the Black Lives Matter protest on Tuesday evening. Please, everyone, remember one thing: All lives matter. Be respectful to one another. Have peace and love in your heart.

It was disgusting to see the picture of A.J. Bohannon yelling at state troopers with a bullhorn, 2 feet away. Does he think that makes the troopers think better of him? How would he like it?

A professor at Columbia University said that the “all lives matter” hashtag is essentially racist. That is a bit mind-numbing. If my child were a student there, I would ask for a refund.

If you obey the law, you have little to fear from law enforcement officers. Funny how that works.

If Rep. Tim Huelskamp fought Obama and won, why is Obama being blamed for everything? Now we know all the Republicans who fought Obama and won are to blame.

Donald Trump wants to go after and eliminate ISIS, whereas Hillary Clinton wants to clap her hands and just sing “Kumbaya” louder.

Exactly where is the line between very careless and extreme negligence? I am still not clear on this.

If Hillary really had 30,000 e-mails about yoga routines, she wouldn’t need to be wearing pantsuits.

My impression of Trump is that he has a talent for getting people’s money, and now he’s getting people’s votes.

Show us your tax returns, Mr. Trump. Don “the Con” has plenty to hide no doubt.

For once I agree with the environment loons: The new Pokemon game is a huge, obscene waste of fuel and resources.
