I would never agree with Kris Kobach. But if you think that your vote will make a difference, and they all do, you probably should have put out enough effort to prove that you are an American citizen.

Kris Kobach, our Kansas secretary of state, has turned into the Kansas secretary of hate.

I’m proud of our state troopers for how they handled themselves during the recent protest. They stood there like professionals and took the verbal assaults, especially from the protester with the bullhorn yelling in their faces. It showed whom to respect.

Yelling with a bullhorn 2 feet from an officer? Next time I’m pulled over for speeding, I’ll try that approach.

Peaceful protest does not include blocking roadways. I wouldn’t expect civility from Black Lives Matter.

There are more than a few bad apples in our law enforcement. And have you heard any police anywhere condemn other police over killing innocent Americans?

Funny that Black Lives Matter was protesting police actions at the same time law enforcement was sponsoring a camp at Lake Afton for underprivileged kids of the area.

Well, well, well. Hillary Clinton won’t be charged. Now could you Republicans get on with the real problems in our country, such as Donald Trump?

The real reason the FBI dealt with Hillary as it did is because the other bigwigs doing the same thing would have to be treated the same way.

I hope you “political sleepers” will wake up by November to vote, so we won’t have total socialism in this country.

Dear Koch brothers: It’s still Donald Trump running for president. Don’t let the addition of an ultraconservative running mate change your mind on Hillary Clinton. She still looks better.

Clinton makes mistakes, then accepts responsibility; Trump makes mistakes, then rants.

Goodness always prevails. Thank you to the kind lady who gave my daughter-in-law gas and funds when she was lost at Lakeway and 21st. The kindness will be forwarded.
