If you want to vote in the Aug. 2 primary and haven’t registered yet, you have until Tuesday. In addition to the Sedgwick County Election Office, 510 N. Main, a number of government buildings and businesses throughout Sedgwick County (including QuikTrip stores) are designated voter registration outposts. Applications obtained at those outposts must be completed and e-mailed, faxed or postmarked as mailed Tuesday. It is also possible to register online through the Kansas Secretary of State’s website. People registering to vote for the first time will need to prove their citizenship (though the deadline for providing that documentation isn’t until Aug. 1). – Phillip Brownlee
