From the testimony of FBI Director James Comey before a congressional committee, it’s obvious not only are we to ignore the elephant in the room, we are expected to swallow it whole.
Since when are carelessness and ignorance of the law grounds for immunity from prosecution for violating the law governing the dissemination of government classified material?
Hillary Clinton is careless with her e-mails, but Donald Trump is mentally off. It is easy to choose between them.
If elected, Trump would be the first president to hit the ground backpedaling.
If you think the cold-blooded murder of Dallas police officers is due to inadequate gun control, you may be a simpleton – or an opportunist capitalizing on a tragedy.
I hope NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and the rest of the televised media are proud of what they caused in Dallas by blaming every police officer in the United States for the actions of an individual.
Why is it Republicans like Pat Roberts and Mike Pompeo trust science when it comes to GMOs and agricultural biotechnology, but don’t trust it when it comes to global warming?
I would suggest the majority county commissioners reread all of the New Testament to see if they think Jesus would have signed on to the resolution that would take food out of the mouths of babes. Shameful.
Undocumented immigrants should not be subsidized by taxpayers. People should come to this country for opportunity, not handouts. Good job, Commissioners Howell, Ranzau and Peterjohn.
At least 95 percent of people will never set foot in the new library. What a waste of money. They could have fixed the streets. We use the best library in the world, Google, for free.
The roads to the new Southeast High are poorly marked. “Cross traffic does not stop” signs will not instill fear in a teenager distracted by a cellphone, radio or passengers. Clear markings and lights are needed at all intersections to and from the school.
Judging from the impressive fireworks displays over the July Fourth holiday, the economy must be doing just fine.
Everyone should be doing this anyway, but especially in this heat, check on your elderly neighbors and family.
