I blame President Obama for the war on police officers. He started it by saying police “acted stupidly” and making other rash statements.
Our president, in his best channeling of Saul Alinsky, uses every crisis to further divide the population. This will be his legacy: the president who personally has done more to promote division among the people in modern history.
It’s not police officers’ job to kill people. Their job is to protect and serve. Yet more than 500 people have been killed this year by police officers, and the latest videos show innocent people being shot.
I understand the outrage over officer-involved shootings of black men, but where is the discussion of respect for authority and acting responsibly? If you act like a thug, you will be treated like one.
If God had made everyone the color green, there wouldn’t be any race problems. But then we are supposed to be smart enough to know we don’t need that.
In a campaign commercial, Rep. Tim Huelskamp states that he “beat” Obama. If that is the case, then why do the Republicans keep blaming the president for everything?
Now they want to investigate Hillary for lying to Congress. Many people brought before Congress have knowingly lied. The Republicans want to center on her and forget about the rest. What about the damaging lie that Iraq had WMDs?
Republicans simply have to accept that Democrats will not be held to account for lawbreaking when Democrats hold the instrumentalities of government. Cowardly Republicans like John Roberts and James Comey are corrupted by association.
The perfect witches’ brew: hair of Trump, a forked tongue and eye of Newt. Stir, bring to boil, and look out for the caustic solution.
Gov. Sam Brownback deserves a pat on the back for one success – his ride-along program operated by the Kansas Highway Patrol with the state’s King Air. During our state fiscal crisis, dignitaries like Secretary of State Kris Kobach and Rep. Gene Suellentrop get rides to attend self-aggrandizing events.
Is Wichita mostly populated by old ladies? One would think so after reading all of the hysterical fireworks complaints in the Opinion Line.
