More guns in the hands of good guys is clearly working, so let’s not change a thing.
The primary purpose of fireworks is celebration. The primary purpose of firearms is killing. If our governing politicians are most interested in safety, why do they outlaw fireworks and glut our society with carrying of firearms?
If your car is flooded out in the roadway on your way to the ER because you blew off your hand with fireworks, you might be a redneck.
If the Sedgwick County Zoo is the state’s No. 1 outdoor family attraction, why does it spend so much on TV ads? County taxpayers contribute almost $6 million annually. We need our County Commission to have more oversight of how the zoo spends our dollars.
The Kennedy family should sue Fidelity Bank for misappropriating JFK’s classic inaugural speech to shamelessly promote its brand. Likewise, the city of Wichita should be ashamed to participate in this travesty.
I pay a lot in taxes to Wichita so, yes, I want it to do things for me. And don’t ask me what I can do for Wichita.
People, it’s not Brownback’s fault that you buy items over the internet and don’t pay the state sales tax on that purchase.
I’m a small-business owner not paying state taxes. I am also my only employee and plan on staying that way. Please let me and everyone else pay our Kansas income taxes, before everyone leaves the state.
General David Petraeus should be immediately pardoned of any wrongdoing.
