Hey, USD 259: Save money by doing away with the magnet schools. Go back to neighborhood schools. If the elitist wannabes want to go across town, let them provide their own transportation.

Blame the guns. Blame the person. Blame the laws. I blame TV networks. If TV were more entertaining, we would all be at home on our couches, with no time to buy guns or congregate en masse to be shot.

Rep. Tim Huelskamp says Roger Marshall is not who he says he is. But Huelskamp sure has told us who he is – a man with no positive achievements to run on who resorts to smear ads to malign his opponent.

Did Bob Dole seriously suggest Huelskamp focus on issues rather than misleading attacks? Such attacks worked well when Dole besmirched the reputation of Bill Roy more than 40 years ago. On the other hand, why hasn’t Marshall addressed the substance of the Huelskamp ads?

If you think the meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton on a Phoenix tarmac was a coincidental encounter, and that they just chatted about grandchildren and golf, you believe in unicorns and fairy dust.

The only reason Obama has a 53 percent approval rating is because 53 percent of the country has been on the dole since he took office.

Abolitionist John Brown was nothing more than a crazy murderer, duly hanged for treason by the United States. His mural in the state Capitol is an insult. You might as well paint Timothy McVeigh next to Brown.

Where have all the boneheads gone? To the left lane, every one.
