My momma always told me to change my socks when they started to smell. The same applies to our legislators.
There’s a foul smell coming from Washington, D.C., and it’s been pinpointed to be coming from the Clintons, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the State Department.
The Republicans have spent more money and time on their Benghazi investigation than any congressional investigation has ever spent in the history of this country. That includes those on the JFK assassination and Sept. 11. All because they’re that scared of Hillary Clinton. Anybody who worries the Republicans that much has my vote.
Any honest evaluation of the Benghazi debacle shows that not only did Clinton and Obama breach the rule of good judgment, but they repeatedly delivered a false narrative to the American people. My dad told me that’s called lying, and good people don’t do that. You decide.
I wish there were a way to identify which of you think that Benghazi or the report about what happened there was a “farce.” That way, next time you have a fire or other emergency, you could call 911 more than 600 times and get no help.
Republicans are great at instilling fear and placing blame, but when are they going to put forth any policies that help the average American other than lower taxes for the rich or more war (that they started) and money spent in the Middle East countries?
Boy, what a choice Americans have for president this year: seething anger versus an arrogant, inarticulate buffoon.
We are in the middle of another presidential election. Are we hearing what these candidates will do to make our lives better and our families safer? No, all we hear is that “my opponent sucks and that is why you should vote for me.” This is why the electorate seethes.
I support gun ownership. However, the refusal of the Republican Party and the NRA to agree to commonsense restrictions have led me to conclude it is time to repeal the Second Amendment. It is a poorly worded vestige of a time when the federal government relied on state militias for defense.
To anyone who wants to know why your electric bill keeps going up: Watch Westar Energy in action. One guy does the work and six guys stand around the hole watching, and the supervisor occasionally comes and stands with them. Sure wish I had a job like that.
