I wonder whether in 10 years the CDC will identify the Rio Summer Olympics of 2016 as ground zero in the Zika epidemic and the resulting zombie apocalypse.

If you think the EU vote was a surprise, wait until Donald Trump is voted in as president. People are tired of losing jobs or working two jobs to survive.

You guys are voting for the guy who sold you that horrible used car.

Don’t you people realize that Hillary Clinton will never go to prison for the illegal deals she has made? She is protected for some reason. Martha Stewart went to prison for much less. Hillary is another Obama. Get used to it.

According to polls, 33 percent of Americans believe that Hillary Clinton is honest and trustworthy. I find this astonishing.

The Republican Party would sell its soul for 30 pieces of silver if it had a soul to sell.

The Kansas economy shrank in three of four quarters last year. There’s the proof that the Laffer-Brownback tax cuts didn’t cause our budgetary problems. It’s the state economy, stupid.

If these folks in our Legislature don’t quit screwing up our state, they might just make a Democrat out of me. God forbid. The next Brownback cut might be our Good Luck Tree.

If the Legislature would pass a special 2 percent sales tax on fireworks, the budget deficit would be gone in a week.

I’ve been looking in my Bible to find where it mentions the God-given right to bear arms. Could someone help me with that?

In the event of a public mass shooting, rip the no-guns sign off the wall and beat the shooter about the head and shoulders with it.

I have enough address labels to last a lifetime. Groups should consider sending discount coupons, notepads, coffee cups, etc.
