Earthquakes are not tied to fracking, Anna Nicole Smith married for love, and weapons of mass destruction were in Iraq.
Before fracking, there were very few earthquakes in Kansas. Since fracking began, there have been hundreds of earthquakes in Kansas. To Gov. Sam Brownback and other Republicans, this is proof that there is no connection between fracking and earthquakes.
Christ said in the end there would be earthquakes in diverse places. It doesn’t matter whether the cause is fracking or not; he said it would happen and it is. The world is one smuggled nuke away from total anarchy. Believe in Christ and you will be saved.
If climate change is only imagined, why was 2013 the warmest year on record, only to be replaced by 2014 as officially the warmest on record? Does childish denial play a part, or political donors’ opinions?
Abortion is tragic, but more tragic is when unwanted children are brought into homes where neglect, abuse and death are all too common. And worse – into a country increasingly run by people who say they want every child but cut funding for services to help children.

Editorial cartoonist Richard Crowson resorted to his tinfoil hats again to demonize conservatives (Jan. 25 Opinion). Perhaps he is the one who should be portrayed with a tinfoil hat that he uses to keep conservative ideas from entering his mind and spoiling his left-wing view of the world.
Changing the airport’s name was an irresponsible waste of taxpayer money. The City Council might as well have taken $140,000, put lighter fluid on it and burned it up, showing how much they care about using taxpayers’ money.
The new airport logo looks like it would be more at home on a football helmet.
