So when is WSU’s Innovation Campus going to house something actually innovative?

How does a Braeburn Square at WSU with hotels, restaurants and shops enhance the educational quality for students? With rising tuition and continuing parking problems, it seems that students and education are low priorities.

The “Tripodal” at Century II resembles air conditioner ductwork assembled by the Three Stooges. There is also an awful mess south of the downtown library. Why not have more art of the Indians, buffalo and the Old West that would mean something to everyone?

The way Donald Trump rants and raves, sputters and squawks, he should change his last name to “Duck.”

If Trump would stop repeating every other line of his rants, his speeches would be 50 percent shorter. He must feel that repeating gives more emphasis to his poorly formed opinions. I find his redundancy boring.

I wonder if this election will be when the rank-and-file blue-collar workers start voting for what’s in their best interest – by voting for Trump. Voting for Hillary will only be good for the Democratic Party and the hierarchy of the union.

Voting for Hillary Clinton won’t actually be the end of the country, but it will actually feel like it.

Thank God for columnists Davis Merritt and Leonard Pitts – two voices of reason and compassion.

I think Bernie Sanders should have named Davis Merritt his running mate. That would have been a potent left-wing political machine. Or maybe not.

Obama needs to send Loretta Lynch to give Kim Jong Un a big hug and a kiss so he will quit developing long-range missiles and nuclear weapons.

The sun is shining in Kansas? How could Gov. Sam Brownback possibly know that while he is buried so deeply in someone else’s pocket?

I like to sleep so much because my dreams are much more pleasant than today’s reality. We have become a nation of self-centered, obnoxious, narcissistic gluttons. Maybe it would help if I stopped watching the news.

Sometimes a person can be abrasive. Fine. What I don’t like are people who enjoy and take pleasure in being abrasive.
