The stock Republican and NRA response to all of the mass murders is a “moment of silence.” How much blood must be spilled before we get a moment of sanity?
So when the Democrats don’t get their way, they sit on the floor and hold their breath until they get what they want? This is what our government has come to? Sad.
So the Democrats are just sitting on their backsides in the House? What’s new?
One characteristic of a civilized society is the lack of guns – not because the government has outlawed them, but because the citizens have no use for them or desire to own them.
Truly one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in my lifetime is watching the world’s most prosperous nation become one of its least happy.
Donald Trump says profiling Muslim Americans is “not the worst thing we could do.” He’s right. The worst thing we could do is elect Donald Trump as president.
I’d like to dig up Trump’s parents and slap them.
Hillary Clinton is just like Obama. Never miss an opportunity to stomp on the Constitution and citizens’ rights, and never let a good crisis go to waste.
No real man would ever vote for Hillary.
Stop the politics. Merge the Wichita and Sedgwick County fire departments and Sedgwick County EMS into one organization.
The Eagle shouldn’t parrot the County’s Commission’s talking points. The real emergency wasn’t EMS. It’s our community’s death of a thousand cuts.
It never ceases to amaze me how the powers that be in downtown Wichita vote to waste taxpayer money.
All critics of our County Commission: You have the right to do whatever you want with your money, but you do not have the right to forcefully take my money, to provide schooling and food to criminals.
Why shouldn’t an undocumented immigrant who graduated from a Kansas high school take advantage of in-state tuition rates? Bill Self and Bill Snyder avoid paying taxes on their taxpayer-financed salaries by calling themselves LLCs.
Quit being your children’s friend, their entertainer. Quit indulging them. Stop doing whatever you want whenever you want to do it. That right ended when you had kids. Don’t count at them as a substitute for spanking. Say “no” and mean it. Be a parent.
