Who believes the president is serious about fighting Islamic terrorism when he won’t even name that enemy? And he says our greatest enemy is global warming.


I will use the term “radical Islam” when you use the term “radical homophobia.”


The massacre in Orlando was so sad. But sadder still is the way the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee and our president threw the LGBT community under the bus and instead tried to make sure that Muslims weren’t “offended.”


The Orlando shooter would have only taken out a fraction of the innocent people he did if it were not for the misguided gun laws that effectively prevented those law-abiding victims from protecting themselves and others.


Mosquitoes are bad again, and that can be blamed on lax gun-control laws.


There aren’t too many good sitcoms on these days, so I’m really invested in Donald Trump staying in the presidential race.


There was an advertisement for two Whoppers for $5. I thought it was pay-per-view for a Hillary Clinton speech. It turned out to be some burger joint.


A 5 percent tuition increase at WSU probably means another 500 fewer students again next fall, but at least president John Bardo and the faculty are still singing “Kumbaya.”


Funny how Republicans always spout, “We are a nation of laws” – until it’s a law they don’t like. Then they try to change the laws and undermine the courts. However, you and I have to follow the laws.


Right-wingers will always, always complain about taxes. And if there are no taxes, they will complain anyway, claiming that there are.


I wonder how many of these parents who can’t afford to feed their kids during the summer and who send them to get the free breakfasts, lunches and snacks will be in line to buy all kinds of fireworks. They have money for the nonessentials.


Blame seems to reduce the pain of having failed or made a mistake.


I am no longer responsible for the health and well-being of those who are brainless or oblivious and walk behind my vehicle as I am backing up. You’ve been warned.
