Can anyone give me an example of someone defending himself with an AR-15?
We have immigration laws, but millions have entered our country illegally. We have drug laws, but millions of pounds of illegal drugs have entered our country. Do we really believe that by passing stricter gun-control laws we can keep weapons from those who wish to do harm?
Republicans would rather ban Muslims than ban assault weapons.
Hate is not welcome in this country. Hate will never win.
Another angry American man with an assault rifle murdered a lot of people. Banning Muslims or voting for Trump would not have stopped this. But banning civilians from owning, buying, or selling assault rifles and ammunition could prevent the next one.

The recent actions by Donald Trump to ban certain news media from covering his campaign are normal in Third World countries and dictatorships. What does that suggest he might do with freedom of speech if he is elected?
“Politically correct” is the politically correct way to say something nice about something that’s mostly wrong. Speak bluntly, offending those for whom the truth offends, and to heck with all the “politically correct” doublespeak.

The legislative leaders and the governor say that the Supreme Court shutting down the schools for less than 1 percent of the school budget would be ridiculous. Give them less than 1 percent of their regular salary and per diem, and you’ll hear the screams statewide.
I had two coupons for free products, so the balance due was zero, but had to pay 38 cents for Kansas sales tax.
