I’m not sure this “well regulated militia” thing is working. Can we have our country back?
What possible need is there for anyone other than a soldier to have an assault rifle? Ban them.
If the Florida shooter was on the FBI’s radar, why did red flags not go up when he purchased his guns? What good will stricter gun laws do when nobody enforces the ones we have now?
Interesting reactions from the candidates to the horrific event in Orlando. Bernie wants to ban guns, Hillary wants to study the problem, and Trump wants to use toughness and vigilance. The last approach seems to be the wisest.
Nobody “misconstrued” Trump’s racist remarks about the judge. The integrity of the Republican Party is at stake. What makes it harder for Republicans to work across party lines with a Democratic president than to support a racist, chauvinistic, narcissistic buffoon?
I bet our “conservative” Kansas Legislature decides “equal” means “more” at the special session. With some help from the courts and liberal press, big government wins again.
The goal of Brownback and his minions is to destroy the public school system. Then they can privatize schools with lucrative contracts to their political supporters.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, rest in peace, Muhammad Ali.
A loud, boastful prizefighter who refused to serve his country is proclaimed by a slobbering media as a “titan of our times.” Contrast this with the men who stormed the shores at Normandy 72 years ago. Who’s the greatest?
I wonder how many people who text everything understand the importance of cursive writing. Those World War II letters found in that man’s woodshed should have opened some eyes. I have a feeling they didn’t, though.
The lost love letters are personal and should not have been opened, read and publicized. Letters from my mother’s first husband, who was killed in World War II, were found in an Army trunk and burned without being opened by anyone.
