Some days you just have to turn off the news. Sunday was one of those days. Rest in peace.
The worst mass shooting in American history. The shooter was known to the FBI and still purchased an assault weapon. Republicans in Congress refuse to ban those under watch by the FBI from buying a gun. The NRA is running the show. Ban assault weapons. Tell the NRA enough.
How many more terrorist killings have to occur before Obama says “Islamic terrorism”?
When Donald Trump says something, wait a few minutes until almost anybody else comes up with the correction. Everything out of his mouth is mean, a lie and crude. And people believe what he says. Really?
The Democrats are screaming, yelling and protesting against Trump for one reason: If he wins, they might lose their entitlements and have to return to work.
I have to say it because I could be the only one in Kansas to say it: I saw Donald Trump using a teleprompter.
Do you want an honest and realistic tax revenue estimate? Eliminate dynamic scoring.
I saw great sportsmanship at the NCAA Women’s College World Series. The players never blamed the ump or made excuses for their mistakes. Too bad our legislators can’t offer a similar example of good statesmanship. Instead it’s deny, blame, insult and spin.
I hope the third time is a charm with the announcement of Tom Gentile as CEO of Spirit. His combination of business smarts and employee relationships would finally be the ideal combination for this position.
The bridge work in north Wichita on East 21st Street has gone on way too long. At least give us a lane in each direction.
K-96 westbound is down to one lane on the bridge over the Big Ditch. The only good alternate route to the west side of Wichita, I-235, is also down to one lane, causing major backups. This kind of idiocy drives me nuts.
An Edwin the Duck digital toy costs $100? Don’t children play with blocks anymore, or is that not sophisticated enough for them?
