Why all the fear surrounding Hillary? The scared, old white men who could not accept a black person in America’s highest office have the same fears about a woman in that position. Sorry, guys – none of us has to sit in the back of the bus anymore.
Why wouldn’t someone kidnap and threaten a Garden City judge and his wife, when Trump is attempting to intimidate a federal judge and the Legislature is intimidating the Kansas Supreme Court for “judicial overreach” (not siding with lawmakers)?
Brownback and his Republican yes-men have taken Kansas back to the Dark Ages. For all of their followers who think an education is unimportant: The Dark Ages were not a good time.
Why do we recognize the Supreme Court ruling that school funding was not “equitable” when the term does not exist in the state constitution? It says “suitable.” The word “equitable” has been unconstitutionally added, so the legislators decide what is suitable, not the court.
I was expecting a 5 percent raise this year, but I only received a 3 percent raise. So just like Kansas public schools, I will claim that I got a pay cut.
Forced to resign after 38 years. I think the coach should do the same, as he is responsible for the losing seasons. Thanks to Brent Kemnitz for giving his heart and soul to WSU and the baseball team, and good luck.
I’m a big fan of the Wichita River Festival, and this is the best entertainment I’ve seen in years. But the food tickets are inconvenient, and the pricing is set up just to squeeze extra dollars out of the festivalgoers. Please go to cash only.
