The Republican tea party has successfully “transitioned” into the Republican pee party.


How a human being of normal sanity, and I am reluctantly including columnist Leonard Pitts, can think that the transgender locker room/restroom policy laid out by our president won’t be abused by perverted individuals is mind-boggling.


To the Kansas Supreme Court: You’re fired!


The recent criticism by Donald Trump of the judge hearing the case against Trump University probably resonates well with those Kansas officials who want to take down the state Supreme Court.


Trump said that Judge Gonzalo Curiel has an inherent conflict of interest because of his Mexican heritage. Now the race card is being played with Trump’s litmus test for judges. I know, you know and we know now that this man is not qualified to be president.


I hope people are aware that the liberal media are trying very hard to pick our next president. They picked the last one and things couldn’t be worse. They are eating Trump alive and giving Hillary Clinton a complete pass. Don’t let them do it.


It’s too bad we have to go back constantly to World War II so we can find something to be proud about in this country. That was 75 years ago.

Our highly rated zoo brings in more people than any other outdoor activity in the state. For its success, we can thank Mark Reed and his staff. The Sedgwick County Commission has no experience running a zoo. Let the professionals run the zoo and the commissioners do their job.


Would the city please have the consideration to finish the bridge and road job that has gone on way too long on the corner of Douglas and Linden in east Wichita?


If the Kansas City Royals expect to be in the playoffs, they had better make some changes.
