I’m so glad the Sedgwick County commissioners are making changes at the zoo. If the zoo wants a handout, it needs oversight.


I just came back from Missouri. We saved enough money on adult beverages, groceries and tobacco products to pay for our trip.


Obama’s latest decree on unisex bathrooms and locker rooms in public schools is complete proof that Kansas needs a school voucher program. We’ve had enough of Washington controlling our local schools.


Will the people who think schools are underfunded and cheating their child out of a good education ever realize that schools are a bottomless pit and all the money in the world is not going to buy their child a good education?


Four questions it would be nice to have answered: How many members of the Legislature home-school their kids? How many send their kids to private schools? How many have no kids? How many pay no state income taxes?


Which Kansas legislators are benefiting from the tax breaks to LLCs and S-corporations? Name yourselves. We want transparency.


The oath of office for the governor and legislators requires they support the Kansas Constitution. If they defy the Kansas Supreme Court’s constitutional interpretation of school funding and the schools are forced to shut down, are they impeachable for violating their oath?


I don’t get people who think judges should make decisions based on public opinion or the judges’ personal beliefs. Haven’t they heard that we still live under the rule of law? If you don’t like the laws, look to the Legislature and the governor for changes.


If I’d had a commander in the Army who behaved like Donald Trump during his recent press conference, I would have immediately requested a transfer out of that unit.


Make Trump University great again.


It appears over and over that the Democrat Party is a party of violence, while the Republicans remain the peace party.
