Opinion Line Extra (May 27)

If you really, really want to bring back the U.S.S.R., vote Donald Trump.

The violent protest at the Trump rally in New Mexico has caused me to take a second look at voting for Trump. This is out of control. Those protesters vandalizing police cars, throwing rocks, etc., should be arrested. If they are here illegally, they should be deported.

With his choice of Bible verse, Trump verifies his personal morality of always getting even, and puts himself outside the Christian domain. Likewise his choice of climate adviser puts him outside the domain of climate science.

Thank goodness for the wild-eyed pistol waver at the White House. We got 45 minutes with no Trump on the news.

Sen. Jim Denning stated, in reference to the budget bill signed by the governor: “We don’t know the details of the agencies.... We just left it up to him and them to decide what they can do within their agencies.” If that’s the case, why do we need the legislators?

It has been three months since I electronically filed our Kansas state income taxes. I called and have not gotten a response or a check. How many other people have not gotten their refund?
