Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald should be fired for the pathetic comparison of VA wait times to lines at Disneyland.

Donald Trump’s irresponsible response to the Egyptian airliner crash is exactly why he should never be president. He shoots off his mouth before facts are known. God help us if his finger is on the nuclear trigger.

Trump isn’t a monster. He’s the voters’ and our country’s only salvation from gridlock and non-performing politicians.

I think presidential candidates matter, but most people simply vote for their party. While Trump and Hillary don’t exude a “cool” charisma, Trump’s arrogance and “Don Rickles without the humor” personality are huge negatives. He also has to spend too much time trying to clumsily explain his strange comments.

It’s astonishing how quickly Republicans got busy rationalizing their newfound support for Donald Trump’s candidacy, but only if you ignore the fact that “irrational” and “Republican” go hand in hand.

Lord of the land, King Barack issued his latest edict regarding transgenders-for-a-day in public school bathrooms. Obama may have finally “jumped the shark.”

The only thing wrong with North Carolina’s bathroom law is that we now live in such a liberal utopian wannabe country that we even need laws to make men use the men’s room and women use the women’s room.

A few years ago in Oklahoma City, I peed in the women’s restroom. I guess I always have been on the cutting edge.

Ever find your political bombast meter stuck at zero? Tune into MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” and if you can stomach watching it for 60 seconds, your meter will be immediately pegged out to the max.

Republican ideology will be the death of Kansas. Only here could the facts – credit downgrades, robbing Peter to pay Paul, cuts to education, deferred pension payments – be considered good governance. Yet the poor, ignorant people of Kansas will again vote the idiots back in office. Truly sad.

Bicycle riders must obey all traffic laws. Riders are not special. It is against the law to ride a bicycle on the downtown sidewalks.

I remember a simpler time when a person was still considered intelligent enough that they could walk into a building such as the tag office or DMV and wait their turn in line without using a computer.

Why do lady pastors and lady broadcasters screech? The decibel of their voices goes high, unlike that of a modulated voice like Cindy Klose’s. We will miss you, Cindy.
