Our legislators have bankrupted Kansas, and yet they are zealously worried about where people go potty.
Where have all the transgender folks gone to the restroom for the past thousands of years before all the press and verbiage they are getting today? If it ain’t broke, why fix it?
I see Gov. Sam Brownback came out of his bunker long enough to beg Cargill to stay, and then went back into hiding. I wish he had the courage to do some town halls across the state and listen to what real Kansans think of him.
Quit lumping “Republican voters” together. Trump has a solid 30 to 35 percent base, and that’s it. The rest of us find him revolting, and most won’t even consider voting for him. He was foisted on us, and the whole country will pay in the form of President Hillary Clinton.
Beware, all citizens – now police officers can kill you as long as they don’t intend for a crime to happen. Nice justice in Baltimore. All lives matter.
The most guilty party in the Freddie Gray death was Freddie Gray. He controlled his own destiny.
The shot fired at the Augusta High School graduation happened because some fool thought he needed to carry a gun into a public place even though there were signs that said no guns allowed. You can’t blame the NRA or Kansas laws for what happened.
I don’t understand why Wichita State University was permitted to deforest more than 30 acres of Wichita beauty to put up one building. It’s disgraceful.
My parents’ two-pack-a-day smoking led to their early deaths. Consequently, none of their seven children smokes. I loved my parents, but they and Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn made a choice, and it killed them. No one should get to sue and make money off another’s bad decision.
The Wichita TV stations have broadcast locations in western Kansas to provide coverage there. Can’t they figure out how to provide storm coverage only in the affected areas? I do not care about weather coverage for locations 100 or more miles from Wichita.
I am so sick of this weather hysteria by the local channels. It’s just not right that they can totally take over. Form a co-op or something. I want my TV back.
