President Obama will not be apologizing for our bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but count me among millions who are apologizing for that senseless, needless, horrific blunder.

Donald Trump accuses Hillary Clinton of being hypocritical because her Secret Service guards are armed. Isn’t he hypocritical because attendees of his rallies can’t be armed?


Whoever said “they have eyes but see things not” must have been observing social conservatives and the GOP. Closed, delusional minds cause mental blindness.


I imagine many of the anti-Brownback crowd will soon be suggesting that the weak economy in the other nine Plains states is also his fault.


Dear 300,000: Please start paying your share of taxes again. Sincerely, the rest of us.


People who complain about the decline of our school system due to changes made to the curriculum should be aware that those changes were sought almost exclusively by self-interested outside groups and not by the professionals who actually teach.
