The election is really going to be interesting. Will more people show up to vote against Hillary, or will more people show up to vote against Trump?
The day Donald Trump is elected, the U.S. is no longer a superpower.
Trumpish: adj., exhibiting arrogance and ignorance in roughly equal measure.
I dream of having a great head of hair/ But a look in the mirror says it just isn’t there/ What’s there I skillfully comb in a clump/ A “do” I now call the Donald Trump/ And God bless the United States of America.
If Hillary is elected and names Bill her job czar, he’ll give away our jobs again as he did with NAFTA in the 1990s.
As a member of the first class to go all the way through Southeast High School, I congratulate the last class to graduate. The history will begin anew. And all the best to all graduates. Go on to college if you are able. The world needs educated, thoughtful people.

Foolish legislators: Worry less about the unlikely possibility of a transgender person assaulting someone in a school restroom, and more about the real possibility of an 8-year-old being hit by a car or abducted on her 7:30 a.m. walk to school now that her bus has been cut.
To those constantly whining about school budget cuts: Less of an increase than you want is not a “cut.” It’s still an increase.
How many of those poor, starving kids my tax money is paying to feed at schools this summer will be playing with their iPhones at the same time? Whatever happened to people taking care of their own kids?
Gov. Sam Brownback figures by the time people are totally fed up with his state-destroying policies, the roads will be so deteriorated people won’t be able to leave.
A football scholarship to an eighth-grader? The NCAA should be on this like white on rice and pull the plug on Alabama. Insane and disgusting.
A big thank you to all those involved in the annual skin cancer screening clinic. You will probably never know how many lives you saved or how many people you simply gave peace of mind.
