The salt mixture the city of Wichita uses for snow removal turned to a powder and went airborne, and now it is settling all over the trees, grass, cars, etc. There is no way that is not a harm to the environment. We did just fine with salt.
The police profession is not the only job that allows you to kill a person legally. More than 3,000 lives a day are taken legally here in the United States by abortionists.
The United States has proved its commitment to fighting terrorism in lives and treasure. Now let’s see if all those world leaders who participated in the march against terrorism in France are willing to back their symbolism with action.
It was very clear from the president’s State of the Union message that our biggest threat in the world was our Congress. What a divisive speech. Rich versus poor. Democrats versus Republicans. Nothing about people working together to get things accomplished. Veto is the way he will work with Congress.
The Anschutz Sports Pavilion in Lawrence hosts plenty of little leaguers, amateurs and wannabes, so it’s really an appropriate place for Obama’s speech.
Congress, in an infantile response, cut funding to the IRS, limiting finances for enforcement of the 16th Amendment and denying customer service to the public.
The standard line of politicians is “the American people want….” How would they know? They don’t listen. They make known opinions, then turn them into constituent views.
The Republicans have had a plan for “income redistribution” for decades. It is called “trickle down.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. Which is probably the plan.
The fact that anyone could possibly believe that socialism and redistribution of wealth are related in any way is appalling. It is just another example demonstrating that opposition to President Obama’s economic policies is generally based on a remarkable lack of knowledge of the facts.
I always find it funny when a conservative who isn’t following the word of God gets mad because it was pointed out to him by a liberal.
Michael Moore and Seth Rogen are anti-American fools who should crawl away never to be seen or heard from again. We wonder if it ever occurred to either that if it weren’t for soldiers such as those portrayed in “American Sniper” they wouldn’t be allowed to spew their diatribe.
I am a raving liberal. Michael Moore is a raving idiot. We don’t stand in the open and say, “I’m here to shoot you.” It’s war.
Michael Moore is free to move to Cuba and experience its wonderful health care and educational systems, now that the president is normalizing Cuban relations.
