Opinion Line Extra (May 18)
I was asked by my doctor if there is any mental illness history in my family. I told him my sister is a Democrat.
This is hilarious: The new mayor of London calls Donald Trump “ignorant” for his anti-Muslim rhetoric, and Trump responds that it was “very rude of him” and “they are very nasty statements.” I guess he can dish it out, but he can’t take it.
All these things Hillary Clinton is promising and running on, and saying she’s carrying on Obama’s legacy – shouldn’t Obama have accomplished most if not all these policies? Listen to her speak. It’s as if Obama has done nothing these past eight years, but she will?
The Washington Post is so in the tank for the Clintons that its motto should be: “We swim with the sharks.”

Make your own decision, people: Look at video of gatherings by tea parties and other conservative groups versus Occupy Wall Street, Trump protesters, Black Lives Matter, Ferguson, etc. No question in my mind who leaves the most trash, causes the most damage to people and property, and costs taxpayers.
Democrats should never underestimate the determination of Republicans to elect their candidate, no matter how devastating it will be to America. Be it pure evil, wrongheaded ideas or just plain ineptitude, Republicans are easily duped, then America suffers. One can never forget Nixon, Bush II and, yes, even Reagan.
If you want work, you’d better pack your covered wagon, hook up the horses and head to Oregon.

I know that I’m fortunate. I don’t mind paying taxes to help the poor, but it ticks me off when I’m paying my taxes to subsidize the rich.
Highs in the 40s and 50s in the middle of May. What can we do about this terrible global warming?
I’ve never heard of a pharmacist refusing to fill a Viagra prescription for an unmarried man. Shouldn’t Viagra be prescribed only for married men?
