Obama did us harm when he selected national security advisers who were not old enough to shave.

I’m not falling for the “Trump as bogeyman” campaign to scare us into voting for Hillary Clinton. As a lifelong Democrat who researched the Democratic front-runner, I am more afraid of what she would do to this country and abroad.

The Republicans would have us believe the complete lie that they’re trying to defeat Hillary. Wrong. They’re trying to defeat the Democrats who simply do a far better job of representing the middle class, the poor, women and minorities. In short, the majority.

They push, shove, block doors, spit, throw eggs, wave foreign flags, shout curses, attack people, infringe on others’ right to free speech, and carry signs that they can’t read attacking that “hateful” Donald Trump. And they’ve been hired to do so by the “good guys”?

George Clooney opines there will be no Trump presidency. Clooney is so culturally distant, as are most of the Hollywood elites, from the real working and taxpaying people that he can’t even consider he is at risk of becoming a silly anachronism.

It’s so comforting to know Republicans are unifying around a Trump candidacy. Republicans are the best at deciding when to set competency aside in favor of popularity. When has this sort of thought ever backfired on them? Oh, yeah – every time lately. Remember Bush II?

I am blind, and suddenly the pressure is off and I no longer need to worry that I am entering the correct public restroom. Just push the door open and go on in.

There are 321 million people in the U.S. Approximately 700,000 (statistically less than 2 percent of the population) identify as transgender. How often is this a problem? Why are GOP legislators wasting time worrying about which bathroom they use?

The transgender bathroom debate is simple to solve. Just outlaw religious zealot homophobes from using public bathrooms.

Regarding the story “Bison joins bald eagle as symbol of United States”: More appropriate symbols would have been a dollar sign and a bullet.

The people of Brazil can get their president impeached but we can’t seem to get that done to Gov. Sam Brownback. Not fair.

Why wouldn’t Brownback spokeswoman Eileen Hawley dismiss the poll listing the governor as the worst one in the nation? Nobody associated with his office has ever listened to what the majority said. Why should she be any different?
