OK, city of Wichita. Go ahead and build the library, because you will no matter what and I am tired of hearing all the excuses of why it is necessary. I guess we really don’t need streets, water or any of those frivolous items.

Any person who says officers should shoot to disable or disarm has been watching too many episodes of “The Lone Ranger.”

I do not believe in evolution. Why insult monkeys by claiming to be related to them?

I wish I were a Republican. Just think what life would be like: no truth and honesty, no care and concern for others, no reality or regard for facts. What bliss to live in a fantasy world being self-absorbed, self-righteous and judgmental.

The problem is not Rush Limbaugh, but the people who listen to him twice. The problem is not Gov. Sam Brownback, but the people who vote for him twice.

If Brownback were your personal financial adviser, you’d fire him.

Brownback should not be allowed to mess with the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System fund.

Brownback’s values put him at odds with the majority of Kansans.

You gripe and complain about America, and are American. Move to the other country you think is better. Oh, wait – there is none. So stay and quit crying.

I want to see the cartoons of Muhammad. Too bad the American press has no guts when it comes to Islam.

I’m ashamed of our president. I’m embarrassed for his behavior not appearing with the other world leaders against worldwide radical Islam. Where was he? His absentee action is way worse than the shame of President Clinton and his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Regarding the Paris rally: Really, how would an empty suit march arm in arm in a rally?

People need to quit ragging on the “Obama shamed us” bit. Where was the “rally for support” when we lost thousands in 2001? Especially France. Seventeen dead. Big whoop.

Obama is coming to Kansas to teleprompter-speak at KU. Does that man ever stay in Washington? I think he leaves so he doesn’t have to answer the hard questions he doesn’t want to answer or can’t answer. Air Force One should be renamed White House One. He’s always in it.

Raising the tax on fuel just because the consumer price of gas dropped is not a sane strategy of our government.

There’s the old adage, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” But if you have failed 50-plus times to repeal Obamacare at $1 million a try, give it a rest. The U.S. House members need to quit being morons and move on.
