President Obama’s plan to raise taxes by billions only means he wants to waste billions more.
I am not a man of higher academic achievement, but can someone explain the difference between Obama’s goal of income redistribution and socialism?
Please support Obama in his grab for more of your tax money. He needs all he can get to prop up Obamacare and for the Democrat vote-buying free giveaways, including his latest scheme of “free” college.
I was watching what I thought was a “Saturday Night Live” skit. It turns out it was Secretary of State John Kerry with James Taylor. Boy, does that ever show how the U.S. under Obama responds when our friends and allies need support.
I was channel-surfing the other night when I found Gov. Sam Brownback’s State of the State speech on Channel 10 and “America’s Funniest Home Videos” on Channel 9. I kept changing back and forth to see if I could tell the difference.
The Learjet layoffs are Obama’s problem, not Brownback’s. Learjet sells globally, not at a retail store on Douglas.
Democrat Obama’s tax plan: Tax the rich; give the middle class and poor a break. Republican Brownback’s tax plan: Eliminate tax for the rich; make the middle class and poor pay more.
A good person admits he was wrong. But Sam Brownback never does. The latest example is his tax plan in which he adopts the Paul Davis proposals and calls them his own.
How appropriate that they played the theme to “Rocky” at Brownback’s re-election debacle, as he has certainly socked the state of Kansas with a black eye.
Thank God for Sam Brownback.
What is the state of Kansas doing with money from the lottery and casinos? Education could use some help.
We need to reduce crop irrigation by changing our food consumption diet. Tofu, anyone?
Wouldn’t it be great if Wichita State University could find a decent league to join so a win would actually have meaning?
The Shockers are on top of their game, Koch Arena is sold out, and several upcoming games are relegated to computer-only? What about all the Shocker fans who don’t have access to a computer? Good planning – not.
Go see “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” at the Forum Theatre – a fabulous show with exceptional acting by some of our local actors. You won’t be disappointed.
