If Donald Trump is accusing Hillary Clinton of playing the woman’s card in her campaign, it is only reasonable to say that Trump is playing the jerk card in his.

Trump says, “If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote.” If Donald Trump were a man, he would not feel the need to mock, disparage, impugn and denigrate his opponents, women, Hispanics, the press, our allies, immigrants, Muslims nor anyone else.

That’s nice to collect turnpike fees that are overdue (April 28 Eagle). Who has the courage to give property owners six months to pay property taxes, or we sell their properties for overdue taxes?

It figures a Democrat would oppose punishment for people who run through turnpike tollbooths. Another example of Democrats standing behind the bad guys.

You know we’ve received a fair amount of rain when you can no longer see the bottom of the river in the usual places.

To whoever had the party in Riverside Park on Saturday and left an inflatable kids’ pool full of plastic balls and 25 empty Silly String cans in the grass: Whom do you expect to clean up your mess? Nice example for the kids, too.
